Dr. Piush Verma         (Director - Principal )

Director’s Profile

Dr. Piush Verma did his doctorate in diagnostics study of transformer insulation from Thapar University, Patiala and M.E. (Electrical Engg. with honors) from the same institute. He also worked as  a  principal  & head, electrical & electronics engineering in lovely institute of technology, Phagwara. He also worked for 8 years as a  Research Engineer in Thapar University & Thapar centre for Industrial Research & Development, Patiala. He spent three years as a manager in M/s Crompton Greaves (Hydro Division), Channo (Punjab). He also worked for 9 years as  Asst. Research Engineer in Thapar Corporate Research & Development Center, Patiala.

Applied for Patent

Dr. Piush Verma (Director RBCEBTW) and his research team has invented a new mathematical relationship (formulas) between temperature and some properties of transforming oil under varying degree of stress and applied for patent.

Dr. K.S. Upadhyaya Profile


Dr. K.S. Upadhyaya did his PhD. (Physics) in Hydrogen Energy from the University of Rajasthan and  M.Sc. in Physics from the same university. He has handled various administrative positions like Head of Department and has a wide experience of over 30 years at various levels.   Dr. Upadhayaya has recently written a book on Physics practicals titled “The ultimate book of Physics Practicals for AIEEE-2008.” His Research Interests are in Thin Films and Material science.

Profile

Satbir S. Sehgal did his Masters in Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and B.E from Punjab Technical University. He is presently pursuing Ph.D (part-time) from Thapar University. He has 8 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering. He has handled various administrative positions  like Head of Department,  Dean of Academic Affiars and officer incharge M.Tech Thermall Engineering (PTU regional center)  during last 8 years of experience in academics.

Er. S. S. Sehgal has guided number of B.Tech projects and  M.Tech. Dissertations. His Research Interests are Applied Thermodynamics,  Heat Transfer, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Computer Aided Design and Engineering, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Electronic Cooling.
